As creative director, Rui Shao oversees WE Red Bridge’s creative offering, leading a team of 15 creative specialists across Shanghai and Beijing.
Rui brings over 18 years of experience in advertising, honed delivering creative solutions for TVC, digital and social platforms, and e-commence. His understanding of multiple industry sectors and his ability to work fluidly across capabilities allow him to contribute unique perspectives to intergraded marketing communications.
As a creative, Rui believes in the power of storytelling to catch consumers’ eyes and help brands unlock new value for audiences. Throughout his career, Rui has leveraged customer insights and brand equity to help clients achieve business outcomes.
Rui previously held leadership roles at Ogilvy Shanghai and Dentsu Isobar, and worked with brands such as KFC, CocaCola, General Motors, Shisedo, Tencent, and Riot Games. He draws on these diverse experiences to guide the creative strategy of the agency in China’s ever-competitive marketing landscape.
